Dr Isuru Arachchi’s (Dr Izzy) had a vision to establish a team of friendly and experienced doctors, nurses, and Reception staff that work closely together to ensure every patient feels cared for, supported, and listened to.

Dr. Isuru Arachchi - General Practitioner

Dr Isuru Wasthuhewa Arachchi, affectionately known as Dr Izzy, is a caring and dedicated General Practitioner who values building strong, lasting relationships with his patients. He is passionate about providing holistic, patient-centred care and supporting individuals and families through all stages of life.
Dr Izzy has a special interest in chronic disease management, skin checks and skin cancer surgeries, minor procedures, mental health, children’s health, women’s health, men’s health, and First Nations healthcare and management.
His warm and approachable manner helps patients feel comfortable and understood, fostering a trusting and collaborative healthcare experience.
With a genuine commitment to improving health and wellbeing, Dr Izzy combines clinical expertise with compassion and understanding, ensuring every patient receives the highest quality of care.
His caring nature and thorough approach ensure patients feel listened to, respected, and actively involved in their healthcare decisions.
Dr Izzy is passionate about helping his patients achieve their best possible health outcomes through empathy, understanding, and evidence-based medicine.
Alongside his role as a specialist General Practitioner, he also practices Emergency Medicine as a Rural Generalist and holds a Visiting Medical Officer position at Cessnock District Hospital.
Dr. Nirmala Sathiamurthy – General Practitioner
At our clinic, we’re proud to have Dr. Nirmala Sathiamurthy as part of our dedicated medical team. She brings a compassionate, patient-focused approach to healthcare and is committed to supporting the wellbeing of individuals and families in our community.
Dr. Nirmala is a caring and approachable General Practitioner who values building genuine, long-term relationships with her patients. She is passionate about providing holistic care and supporting people through every stage of life.
Her special interests include menopause management, women’s health, chronic disease management, mental health, and paediatrics. Dr. Nirmala takes the time to listen and understand each patient’s unique needs, working together to develop practical, personalised care plans that promote lasting health and wellbeing.
She believes that good healthcare is built on trust, empathy, and open communication. Whether she’s supporting women through menopause, helping manage chronic conditions, or caring for young families, Dr. Nirmala is dedicated to ensuring her patients feel heard, respected, and supported.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Nirmala enjoys bushwalking and yoga, which help her maintain balance and a strong sense of wellbeing in her own life.
Angela Miles – Registered Nurse
Angela is our experienced and caring Registered Nurse who brings both Emergency Department (ED) and General Practice experience to the team. She is highly skilled in chronic disease management, immunisations, and infusion therapy, and plays a vital role in assisting with minor procedures and skin cancer surgeries.
Angela is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centred care and ensuring every patient feels comfortable and supported during their visit. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and friendly nature make her an invaluable part of our clinical team.

Maree Mitchell – Practice Manager
Maree is our friendly and dedicated Practice Manager who takes great pride in ensuring our clinic runs smoothly and efficiently. She is passionate about creating a welcoming and supportive environment where every patient feels valued and cared for from the moment they walk through the door.
With a strong focus on patient satisfaction, Maree works closely with both our doctors and staff to make sure everyone receives the highest standard of care and service. Her approachable nature and positive attitude help foster a happy, team-oriented workplace where staff support one another and always put patients first.
