Surgery Consultation Fees
Huntlee Doctors Bulk Bills standard consultation that, holds a current Medicare /DVA Card.
All patients must produce a current Medicare card at the time of consultation for claimable Medicare rebate.

Overseas students/ visitors or non-Medicare card holders are billed as a private patient.
As for newborn babies they are bulk billed as soon as they receive their Medicare number. If they have NOT been issued with a Medicare number, the parents are to pay for the consult and claim it from Medicare as soon as they receive their new number. In the case of children of regular patient of the surgery, the treating doctor may allow on account receipt and claim it later when Medicare number is available. Minor Procedures will be charged a Private Fee. (practice fee’s apply)
Minor Procedures can range from $75.00 to $800.00 with some Medicare rebate. Please ask reception or your treating Doctor for confirmed price

Work-cover where liability has been excepted and third-party reports is billed to either the employer or the insurance company as per schedule available at the reception.
Private Fees billed to the patient at time of consultation will occur if no claim number has been issued. Please ask reception for further information on SIRA rates.
Appointment Cancellation Policy
We kindly ask that you provide at least 2 hours’ notice if you are unable to attend your appointment. This allows us to offer the time to another patient who may require urgent care.

Cancellations and Fees
If less than 2 hours’ notice is provided, or if you do not attend your appointment, a fee of $85 may apply. Outstanding fees must be paid before further appointments can be made.
